TURKISH TORPEDOES
FIRED NEAR CONSTANTINOPLE
GREEKS DEPORTED FROM GALLIPOLI

Athens, June 27.
   When  British  submarines appear-
ed in the Sea of  Marmora the Turks
fired numerous torpedoes along the
islets in the vicinity of Constan-
tinople.
    The  Greek population of Maidos
and  Kritia  have   been  transported
to Panderma.  They are all in a most
deplorable condition.
